How to tell if you’re experiencing a dental emergency

You can define a dental emergency as any condition that is causing you pain, distress or loss of function or if your problem has the potential to worsen if it’s left untreated. While there are varying types of emergency dental conditions, from toothache to cosmetic issues, it’s important to note that not every emergency involves pain, for example, if a veneer has fallen out.

It’s our best advice that if you feel there’s a disruption to your day-to-day because of your issue, you book a dental appointment instantly to prevent the problem from getting worse or to relieve yourself of the stress and pain.

However, with that being said, if you’re experiencing any level of toothache or infection or the structure of your tooth is damaged, it is best to seek dental help from a professional as soon as possible.
