Denture Repair London

Fast, Same-Day Repairs from £125

We provide same-day denture repair in London, fixing cracks, breaks, missing teeth, splits, and damaged clasps. Most repairs are completed in under 2 hours, and emergency appointments are available seven days a week. Walk-ins are welcome, and repairs start from £189.

As an emergency denture repair clinic in central London, we quickly and safely repair broken dentures, cracked acrylic plates, fractured cobalt-chrome dentures, and lost teeth. Our team is based just 5 minutes from Elephant & Castle, offering fast access for patients across London.

  • You’ve lost a tooth from the dentures
  • One of the teeth on your dentures has broken
  • Your dentures have split or cracked

As denture dentists, we advise patients not to attempt repairing their broken dentures at home. Even a minor misalignment of your dentures can affect the suction, which can cause damage to your mouth or cause the dentures to break easily again.

As dentures play a huge role in how you eat, speak and smile, any damage caused to them is considered a dental emergency, which we can treat quickly and efficiently at our London practice in SE1.

Available out of hours for denture repairs

If your dentures are broken, remove them from your mouth. Retaining the dentures comes with a significant choking risk or the chance that you damage your gums or palate.

While repairing the dentures yourself might be tempting, most prosthetic dentists discourage it. For example, some denture repair kits claim to fix cracks, but we know that this doesn’t exactly work.

At-home repairs also lead to more problems, such as sickness, rubbing, discomfort, and damage to the gums and tongue.

Your emergency appointment fee covers the following:

  • 3D imaging software allows us to see what’s going on.
  • Appointments are faster, and diagnoses are more accurate.
  • Treatment is completed on the day for an additional cost.
  • Prescriptions and X-rays included
  • Patients can be seen within 2 hours of their call.

Dental tip:

Wear and tear might cause a broken denture, which, after years of use, might have undergone several stress cycles of chewing and daily wear.

Progressive bone loss, which is common in denture wearers, may also cause your dentures to loosen over time and become ill-fitting. The lack of stability, in this case, can lead to the denture cracking or breaking.

If your dentures have cracked, split, or lost a tooth, our London clinic can fix them quickly and safely. Book online or call us for immediate denture repair in London, with appointments available same-day and out of hours.

Solutions for broken dentures

In some cases, a denture can be repaired easily. However, depending on the severity of the breakage, you might need a replacement denture.

In dental cases where a tooth on the denture is cracked, we can easily fix this in one appointment.

But where a denture has broken in half, the fix might be more complex as the integrity of the denture is damaged, and the suction is consequently affected.

How we fix dentures

Our prosthodontist will remove the damaged or broken tooth and replace it with a new one after taking the right measurements and matching the colour to the rest of the denture teeth.

We can attach the new tooth to the denture from here, and the repair will be complete. Timelines for repairs can vary, depending on if the denture tooth needs to be completed in a lab or from the chair.

Most denture repairs are done in one appointment, whereas more complex cases can take a few weeks. However, remember that we can offer safe temporary solutions in the meantime.
