Invisalign uses cutting-edge technology that speeds up the process of getting your dream smile and gives you greater control over the result.

More predictable & faster results

For patients, they know Invisalign as just Invisalign aligners. But in the last 20 years, they’ve made considerable and innovative developments in how we straighten smiles. Invisalign has driven orthodontics into the future.

The Invisalign® System has produced some of the world’s most advanced aligners- backed by science and two decades of innovation that has transformed 15.1 million smiles worldwide.

One revolutionary idea has led to progress across several areas, from 3D printing in dentistry to digital smile creation that’s software-managed.

For patients, this means they have more control over the final outcome of their smiles, where they get to preview how their teeth will look like at each stage, and for dentists, it allows for much more predictable movement and results.

3D Aligner printing

Designing and creating aligners involves much more than printing the aligners. There’s a whole software side that precisely calculates your current teeth, orientation, spacing, and much more.

From this, the software generates an end goal, the many interim steps and the required application of force, which need to be adjusted and monitored by an Invisalign dentist throughout your treatment.

The printed aligners are made from a patented SmartTrack material that is clear, thin, comfortable and, most of all, safe for use.

SmartTrack™ and SmartStage™ materials

  • SmartTrack™ materials: Patented aligner material that improves patient comfort and delivers a more gentle, constant force that improves the control of tooth movement. The SmartTrack material, on average, was the fastest in delivering results compared to 260 different materials.
  • SmartStage™: Allows for the programming of each tooth movement with particular sequencing at the right stage in time to achieve the best outcome with greater predictability.
  • SmartForce™ attachments: These features allow the aligners to deliver a precise force when required to deliver more predictable movement. Making Invisalign the only system in the world with features such as Bite Ramps, Precision Cuts and Power Ridges allows it to address a wider range of more severe clinical scenarios.
